Engineering Systems for People: Interactive Team Cognition for Humans and Machines
Wisconsin Institute of Discovery Orchard View Room
What are the possibilities of interactive team cognition for humans and machines?
Join us for the first HEART Initiative Distinguished Speaker Event! We welcome Dr. Nancy J. Cooke (The Polytechnic School, ASU), a leader in cognitive engineering and methodologies to assess human–autonomy teaming.
Team cognition happens when a group of individual members jointly processes information and, in response, produces knowledge and actions greater than any one individual. From more than 30 years of research, Dr. Cooke will report on vital topics to a technological future centered on humans: the importance of team interaction, what it takes to be a good team player, and the power of a single teammate.
